Google tips and tricks

I just got back from my student leadership and black government conference and it was amazing. The only problem was I didnt take down the best notes so that I may continue networking with the other students advisors and professors that I met. Luckily I was about to use the info I had collected in conjunction with google to get the rest of the info that I need. I used the advanced search to find people by their first name and the organization they were apart of. I also limited my search if I knew what region they were from.

  1. Hi Nadiea,

That's good thinking--Googling the people from the conference you attended, to find out their involvement in organizations, their contact information, their professional history, etc.

I hope they can point you in the right direction!

    Sincerely,
